Job summary

Wellstar WEST is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to join the Enterprise Support Team, providing cross-facility coverage for surgical cases. The role includes preparing the operating room, assisting surgeons, and ensuring safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Qualified candidates will have CST certification, TS-C, BLS, and at least 3 years in a surgical setting; LPNs with surgical experience are also considered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a surgical setting.
• CST and TS-C certification required; LPN accepted.
• BLS certification required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the surgical environment and sterile field with precision.
• Support the surgical team by anticipating needs and assisting with instrumentation.
• Perform surgical counts and support time-outs; maintain sterile technique.
• Assist with room turnover, inventory, and sterilization processes; mentor new team members.
