Job summary

Edward Elmhurst Health is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for Labor & Delivery in Naperville, IL.

This full-time role (36 hours/week) operates days, 7 am to 7 pm, with rotating weekends and holidays as part of a surgical team.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Certified Surgical Technician program or equivalent.
• Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association.
• National certification through the Association of Surgical Technologists is required; if not possessed at hire, must obtain within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgical team during all phases of surgery.
• Prepare operating room before surgery and assist as scrub person as directed by the surgical team.
• Maintain sterile technique and provide care, comfort and safety to patients under supervision.
