Job description

Join to apply for the Certified Surgical Technologist I role at Hospital for Special Surgery.

This is a full-time, evening shift position located on the West Side of Manhattan, offering a comprehensive musculoskeletal service center.

Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to promote patient safety.
  • Assist physicians and nurses in surgery, maintaining sterile techniques and tracking instruments.
  • Conduct surgical counts and maintain the surgical field integrity.
  • Respect cultural and religious diversity in patient care.
  • Support a team-oriented environment and align with hospital values.
Minimum Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent; graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
  • NBSTSA Certification required.
  • American Heart Association BLS certification required.
  • One year of sports medicine experience required.
