I have an exciting Medical Technologist (Hematology) position available near South Farmingdale, New York.

Details:

1. Full-time and permanent
2. Shift: Nights, 12 a.m. - 8:30 a.m., Monday to Friday, with rotating weekends
3. Opportunities for growth
4. Comprehensive benefits package (PTO, health insurance, life insurance, 401k, etc.)
5. Salary: $37 - $45/hr

Job Duties:

1. Perform moderate and high complexity testing using state-of-the-art instrumentation, including an integrated Sysmex XN line with CellaVision
2. Analyze, review, and report test results and quality control results; take remedial action when indicated
3. Ensure specimen integrity by adhering to laboratory procedures for specimen handling and processing
4. Follow departmental policies and procedures, including quality control, quality assurance, and safety protocols

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree
2. NY Lab License
3. Prior laboratory experience, including hematology
