Saint Alphonsus in Ontario, Oregon seeks a motivated Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for its Main Operating Room. The CST will assist in sterilizing equipment, preparing ORs, and supporting surgeons and nurses to deliver safe patient care.

The role requires CST certification, BLS at the time of hire, and ideally one year of acute-care scrub experience; some call, incentives, and relocation stipends may be discussed. 40 hours weekly with day shift and benefits from Day 1.

Qualifications

• Certification as CST by NBSTSA or TS-C by NCCT is required.
• Basic Life Support certification from AHA or Red Cross required at hire.
• One year of scrub experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.

Responsabilités

• Demonstrates knowledge to care for all age groups (Neonate to Geriatric) as applicable.
• Complies with hospital safety policies and procedures.
• Ensures aseptic technique and takes corrective action for breaks in technique.
• Maintains instrument counts and sterile field readiness across procedures.
• Assists RN Circulator to set up rooms and obtain equipment.
