Phoebe Digestive Health Center in Albany, GA is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to support surgical teams during daytime shifts. The role requires a Vocational/Technical Degree in an Accredited Surgical Technology Program and CST certification.

Responsibilities include preparing and assisting with procedures with RN, maintaining sterile field, pulling cases, anticipating surgeon needs, passing instruments and sutures, and documenting care plans. 0-1 year experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active CST certification required.
• BLS certification preferred or required.

Responsabilités

• The CST will prepare and assist with surgical procedures in collaboration with Registered Nurse.
• Pull cases according to doctor preference cards.
• Maintain and prepare sterile field.
• Maintain knowledge of surgical procedures.
• Anticipate needs of surgeon.
• Assist surgeon by passing instruments, sutures, etc.
