Phoebe Sumter Medical Center in Albany, GA seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist to provide technical services under supervision of a Registered Nurse and Physician. The role involves assisting in the operating room and possibly Central Sterile Processing duties.

Required CST certification and BLS; vocational/technical degree in Surgical Technology is mandatory. 0–1 year CST experience is preferred. The position is full-time with day shifts and follows hospital policies and procedures.

Competenze

• Vocational/Technical Degree in Accredited Surgical Technology Program (Required).
• Certified Surgical Technologists (CST)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• 0-1 year CST experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Prepare and assist with surgical procedures in collaboration with Registered Nurse.
• Pull cases according to doctor preference cards.
• Maintain and prepare sterile field.
• Assist surgeon by passing instruments, sutures, etc.
• Document and communicate patient care needs to the team.
