Job summary

Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to provide technical services under supervision in the operating room. You will assist in the OR and may work in Central Sterile Processing, following the duties of a CST. Requires CST and BLS certifications and relevant formal training.

Responsibilities include preparing sterile fields, passing instruments, and supporting surgical teams to ensure safe patient care.

Qualifications

• CST certification is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist with surgical procedures in collaboration with the RN.
• Pull cases according to doctor preference cards.
• Maintain and prepare sterile field.
• Assist surgeon by passing instruments, sutures, etc.

Vocational / Technical Degree in Accredited Surgical Technology Program
