Job description

Summary of Position:

The Surgical Technologist will function as a member of the surgical team dedicated to supporting the highest quality care and service to our patients, physicians, and other associates.

As an integral part of the team, the Surgical Technologist is responsible for scrubbing for and assisting in various types of surgical procedures, providing necessary instrumentation, supplies, and equipment for operations. The Surgical Technologist also assists in nursing care activities under the direction of the Registered Nurse.

Schedule:

9 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday - Friday.

Education, Training & Experience:

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of a nationally accredited educational program for Surgical Technologists or completion of an appropriate training program for Surgical Technology in the U.S. military or public health service.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certificate required.
