Job summary

Shrewsbury Surgery Center is seeking a full-time Certified Surgical Technologist to scrub for surgical procedures and maintain a sterile field in our ambulatory setting. You will prepare supplies and equipment, support the surgical team, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Eligible candidates bring a Surgical Technician Program, state certification, BLS, and at least 1 year of experience in an ambulatory center.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a Surgical Technician Program and possess a High School Diploma/GED.
• Certification as required by state and/or center; BLS certification.
• 1+ years of Surgical Tech experience; ambulatory center experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and aseptic techniques; ability to adapt to patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Scrub for surgical procedures and maintain a sterile field.
• Prepare supplies, instruments, and equipment for procedures.
• Support the surgical team and participate in quality improvement activities.
• Collaborate with staff, engage with patients, and coordinate with physicians.
