Job Title: Certified Surgical Technologist

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for a position in Waxahachie, Texas.

Job Description & Requirements

• Specialty: Certified Surgical Technologist

• Duration: Ongoing
• 40 hours per week
• Shift: 8 hours, days
• Employment Type: Staff

The role involves assisting in the operating room, preparing surgical instruments and supplies, maintaining sterile environments, and supporting surgical procedures in a Level 4 trauma center. Requires 1-2 years of OR experience preferred. Certification as a CST by NBSTSA or NCCT, or military/public health service training, is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare the operative site and surgical instruments
• Assist with patient positioning and draping
• Maintain sterile fields and count supplies
• Support surgical team during procedures
• Ensure proper sterilization and maintenance of instruments
• Follow infection control policies and safety guidelines
