Job Responsibilities

• Prepare the operative site and surgical instruments, ensuring aseptic techniques.
• Assist in setting up the operating room and maintaining sterile equipment during procedures.
• Perform surgical counts and manage surgical specimens following protocols.
• Assist with patient positioning, draping, and surgical dressings.
• Disassemble and sterilize instruments post-procedure, ensuring compliance with infection control standards.
• Maintain inventory and proper functioning of surgical supplies and equipment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program.
• Minimum 1 year of surgical technologist experience, with a preference for neuro experience.
• Certification as a CST from NBSTSA or NCCT, or equivalent military/public health service training.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
