Job Summary and Qualifications

Certified Surgical Technologist (OR Tech)

We are seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (Certified OR Tech). Your duties include greeting patients, comforting them, transporting them to the OR, preparing and assisting in surgeries, maintaining sterile techniques, passing instruments, and monitoring patients.

Typical duties include:

• Assembling supplies and equipment for surgeries.
• Preparing sterile instrument tables.
• Positioning patients and prepping skin.
• Maintaining sterile technique and monitoring for breaches.
• Assisting during procedures by passing instruments and sutures.
• Monitoring patients.
• Cleaning and sterilizing equipment post-procedure.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved surgical technologist program.
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist (NCCT, NBSTSA).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Hospital-based OR tech experience preferred.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Team player attitude.
