East Side Surgery Center is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Surgical Technologist, under minimal supervision, performs various duties as a member of the surgical team. Must be able to scrub on all cases, set up and maintain sterile fields, assist in opening supplies and equipment, and prepare for future cases by selecting necessary supplies and instruments.

Skills, Requirements, and Responsibilities:

1. Demonstrate appropriate sterile and aseptic techniques.
2. Perform scrub technologist functions according to AORN recommended practices and procedures.
3. Manage the operative field to maintain sterility during procedures.
4. Disinfect, clean, and prepare instruments, equipment, and supplies for sterilization.
5. Operate equipment used in processing instrumentation, such as ultrasonic cleaners, washer-disinfectors, sterilizers, and autoclaves.
6. Prioritize tasks with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
7. Work effectively under stress and with minimal supervision.
8. Maintain all certifications required by ACT 80 of 2020.
9. Hold BLS certification.
