Pride Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist for a 13-week contract at a healthcare facility in Milwaukee, WI 53226. This is a great opportunity for experienced Surgical Techs to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment while gaining valuable experience.

• Start Date: 05/26/2025
• Shift: Nights | 4x10s
• Hours per Week: 40 hours

Key Responsibilities:

• Scrub into surgical procedures, apply aseptic techniques, and prepare surgical equipment and instruments
• Anticipate surgeon’s needs and assist with instruments, sponges, and sutures
• Maintain accurate counts of sponges, needles, and instruments alongside the circulating nurse
• Assist with patient preparation, draping, positioning, and transfer
• Handle and label specimens, prepare dressings, and aid in clean-up and turnover of surgical rooms
• Follow all infection control, safety, and OSHA guidelines; use appropriate PPE at all times
• Support circulating functions, including setting up supplies and maintaining sterile conditions
• Assist with medication labeling and preparation under RN supervision
• Help with room organization, updating preference cards, and ensuring equipment availability

Education:

• Completion of a surgical technologist educational program

Experience:

• 2 years of healthcare-related experience.

Certifications & Skills:

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
• BLS (AHA)

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
