  • Certification in Surgical Technology is preferred.

Description:

  1. Assist with room set up
  2. Work with surgeons to determine needed supplies, instruments, and/or equipment for cases and communicate to team
  3. Assist with circulating duties
  4. Ensure proper maintenance, care, and cleanliness of instruments, supplies, and equipment
  5. Assist with end of case room clean-up
  6. Prepare equipment for sterilization and proper labeling
  7. Assist with transport of patients as needed
  8. Function as a preceptor for surgical tech students and newly employed techs
  9. Participate in Quality Improvement projects as needed

Experience:

  1. Graduate of accredited school of Surgical Technology
  2. Surgical Technology certification exam preferred
