Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a Certified Surgical Technician for a PRN/Part-time role in Silver Spring. The candidate will scrub for surgical procedures, assist the circulator, and prepare OR supplies. Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, communicating patient data and ensuring a safe, clean operating room environment. Requires CST, BLS, and one year of technologist experience.

Qualifications

• Current CST certification.
• Completion of an approved technologist program or 1 year of technologist experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, speak and comprehend English.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with patient care duties related to personal needs, comfort and safety.
• Scrub for surgical procedures and assist as a surgical team member.
• Prepare and maintain supplies, instruments and equipment for surgery.
• Transmit information accurately to healthcare team members.

Education

Surgical Technologist (CST) certification

Completion of approved technologist program or 1 year experience

Current BLS certification

High school diploma or equivalent

Ability to read, write, speak English
