About The Role

The Certified Surgical Technologist/Technician (CST) provides technical support in the operating room, assisting surgeons, nurses, and anesthesiologists by preparing and managing surgical supplies, equipment, and assisting during procedures.

Duties/Responsibilities

1. Ensure proper supplies, equipment, and instruments are ready.
2. Clean and restock the operating room.
3. Assist with surgical procedures and maintain sterile techniques.
4. Prepare cases and ensure proper documentation and specimen handling.
5. Operate designated equipment and assist with patient positioning and gowning.
6. Communicate effectively with the surgical team to ensure smooth procedures.
7. Perform other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience

REQUIRED:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program
• NBSTSA-verified CST certification
• BLS certification

Preferred:

• One year of surgical tech experience in an OR setting
