Job summary

The hospital is seeking a Surgical Technologist to assemble supplies, maintain instrument sets, and support sterile processing for surgeries. Under supervision, you will organize and decontaminate instruments, monitor sterilization processes, and assist on-call as required.

Requirements include completion of a surgical technology program and certification as a Surgical Technologist, plus BLS per orientation. The role involves full-time or part-time shifts and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Surgical Technologist required, Sterile Processing Certification or equivalent preferred.
• Current BLS Certification to be obtained during orientation and maintained.
• Certification through a program accredited by CAAHEP/ABHES/COE.

Responsibilities

• Assembles and stocks supplies and instruments for procedures.
• Maintains instrument trays and proper bin locations.
• Decontaminates, assembles and sterilizes instrument sets.
• Coordinates with surgery personnel on instrument sets for cases.
• Operates sterilization equipment and monitors loads.
