Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc. is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to join our operating room team in Illinois. This role involves preparing instruments, maintaining sterile technique, and assisting surgeons during procedures in a fast-paced surgical environment.

The successful candidate will have one year of surgical tech experience, graduate from an accredited program, and hold a BLS certification. On-site role with hospital-based duties and strong teamwork expectations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program.
• 1 year of surgical tech experience.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains medical equipment for surgical procedures.
• Sets up the operating room with instruments, sterile drapes, and sterile solutions.
• Tends to patient during pre-operation procedures under supervision of surgeons/Nurses.
• Performs pre-operation skin prep and equipment checks.
• Assembles sterile and non-sterile equipment and verifies proper function.
• Transfers patients to the operating room and helps position them for surgery.
