Job summary

Tenet Healthcare, operating Carondelet St. Josephs Hospital in Tucson, seeks a Sterile Processing Technician to perform decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instrumentation, ensuring readiness for procedures.

You will work with surgical partners to provide accurate instrumentation and supplies, with a focus on efficiency and safety. A High School diploma or GED, BLS, and CBSPD/IAHCSMM certification are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED.
• Licensure/Certifications: BLS and IAHCSMM or CBSPD.
• Experience: 1 year in sterile processing (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instrumentation.
• Assembly and delivery of surgical and interventional procedure case carts.
• Pairing and replenishment of materials.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to provide instrumentation and required supplies.
• Other duties as assigned.
