Job summary

Townsen Memorial Surgery Center- Spring is seeking a full-time Surgical Technologist to join our team. The role involves scrubbing in for all cases, assisting the physician, and ensuring proper sterile processing of instruments and supplies.

Responsibilities include managing instrument inventory, preparing carts, and supporting efficient operating room turnover while adhering to safety and confidentiality policies. A certification and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Formal education in surgical technology and certification required.
• BLS certification required and annual health requirements.

Responsibilities

• Scrub in and assist the physician for all cases.
• Prepare and deliver instrumentation to the operating room and maintain sterile processing.
• Decontaminate, package, sterilize, and store instrumentation per policy.
• Manage instrument inventory and carts, and support room turnovers.
• Adhere to safety, privacy, and confidentiality policies.
