Job summary

CHI Williston Health is seeking a Certified Surgical Technician to support surgeons and nurses in a safe perioperative environment. You will prepare the procedure room, assist during invasive procedures, and uphold sterile techniques with deep knowledge of anatomy and instrumentation.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a Surgical Technologist program or equivalent reviewed by department leadership.
• Certified First Assistant / CST certification required at hire.
• ND Unlicensed Assistive Person registration at hire.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room with instruments and sterile supplies before surgeries.
• Maintain a strict sterile field and ensure environmental controls.
• Assist the surgeon by visualizing the wound, aiding in wound closure, and applying sterile dressings.
• Apply anatomical and physiological knowledge to support perioperative safety and patient care.
