Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent or related experience required.
• Graduate of ORT program or on the job training with a minimum of 3 years’ experience (surgical setting preferred).
• Current Certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist.
• Experience in scrubbing minor and major procedures in generalized surgical specialties (GYN, General, Plastics).
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sterile supplies and instruments for each procedure.
• Maintain sterile field during the case.
• Provide surgeon with sterile supplies and instruments during procedures.
