Grand Strand Medical Center – HCA is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to join our OR team. The role involves scrubbing for procedures, preparing the patient and supplies, and supporting emergency and elective cases to ensure safe, efficient patient care.

Ideal candidates will have completed a Surgical Technology program, be certified, and hold BCLS. Experience in the operating room is preferred, and the facility offers comprehensive benefits and career growth within a leading regional

Qualifications

• Graduate of a School of Surgical Technology.
• Certification required through The National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS).
• Two (2) year recent OR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in nursing care and preparation of the surgical patient per standards and policies.
• Perform scrub duties and related procedures.
• Assist in maintenance of all supplies and equipment.
• Assist in emergency procedures as well as elective and scheduled cases; monitor patient transport and preparation.
