Job summary

Tradition Surgery Center is seeking a Certified Surgical Technician to join our perioperative team on a per diem basis. The CST will scrub, assist the RN circulator, prepare cases, and ensure sterile technique throughout procedures.

Requirements include high school diploma, graduation from an accredited surgical technology program, NBSTSA CST certification, and BLS as required by ASC policy; one year of OR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited school of surgical technology.
• CST certification verified via NBSTSA.
• BLS certification as required by individual ASC policy.
• One year of current Surgical Tech experience in an OR setting (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper supplies, equipment, and instruments are ready for use.
• Scrub and assist in sterile technique between cases.
• Restock operating rooms as necessary to meet par levels.
• Assist other operating rooms for coverage.
• Knowledge of surgeon preferences, procedures, instrumentation, and equipment.
