Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland Heights, OH is seeking a Surgical Technologist (CST) to support our operating rooms full-time. You will perform duties in the OR, maintain cleanliness and efficiency, and assist with patient care across neonatal to geriatric populations.

The role requires graduation from an accredited school of surgical technology, NBSTSA CST certification, and current AHA BLS with 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology.
• CST certification from NBSTSA.
• AHA Basic Life Support certification (within 90 days of hire).
• Ability to interact effectively with diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Performs various duties in the operating room.
• Maintains the cleanliness and efficiency of operating room services.
• Performs limited neonate through geriatric patient care services.
• Orients employees to equipment and procedures.
