Job summary

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program with NBSTSA CST certification and current BLS certification or the ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalence exam passed.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology.
• Certification as a CST from NBSTSA.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support or obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to interact effectively with diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Performs various duties in the operating room.
• Maintains cleanliness and efficiency of operating room services.
• Provides limited neonate through geriatric patient care services.
• Orients employees to equipment and procedures.
• Serves as a role model to other OR technicians and students.
