Job summary

Prime Healthcare is hiring an Operating Room Technician at Paradise Valley Hospital in National City, California. This role involves preparing sterile supplies and instruments for procedures, maintaining a sterile field, and assisting surgeons during operations.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma, current certification as a surgical technologist, and relevant experience. We offer competitive compensation between $23.10 and $31.19 per hour, along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ORT training program or on the job training with a minimum of 3 years’ experience.
• Current Certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist.
• Experience in scrubbing minor and major procedures in the generalized surgical specialties.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sterile supplies and instruments for assigned procedures.
• Maintain sterile field during case and provide surgeon with sterile supplies.

Skills

Current Certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist

Experience in scrubbing minor and major procedures

Experience in scrubbing at least minor procedures in specialty surgical areas

Current BLS (AHA) certification

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Graduate of an ORT training program or on-the-job training
