Ascension St. John Owasso is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support the Operating Room team. The role involves preparing the sterile field, passing instruments, and assisting with patient positioning and transport.

The position requires BLS within 30 days and NBSTSA or NCCT certification prior to hire. A high school diploma with relevant experience or a technical degree is acceptable, with licensure able to substitute education or experience as applicable.

Competenze

• BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer date (AHA or ARC accepted).
• NBSTSA or NCCT Surgical Tech credential before hire.

Mansioni

• Prepares surgical operating suite with sterile drapes, instruments, and supplies.
• Hands instruments to surgeon during surgery as requested.
• Assists with preparing, transporting, positioning and draping patients.
• Maintains instrument counts and organization throughout procedures.
