Job summary

Ascension is seeking a dedicated Surgical Technician to support the Operating Room in Jenks, OK. This full-time, day-shift role includes cleaning and preparing ORs, transporting case carts and equipment, maintaining supplies at par level, and assisting nurses with patient positioning under supervision.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent or 1 year of relevant experience; surgical tech preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable job experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs terminal cleaning of each operating room daily, including thorough decontamination of furniture, equipment and air vents.
• Transports case carts, equipment and supplies and disposes of hazardous waste according to policies and procedures.
• Monitors and maintains supply inventories at an appropriate par level.
• Provides physical assistance for patient positioning, lifting and, moving as directed by clinical nursing staff.
