Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center in Brook Park, OH is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support operating room services across shifts. You will perform various duties in the OR, maintain cleanliness and efficiency, and provide patient care spanning neonate to geriatric patients.

The role includes orienting staff to equipment, serving as a role model, and upholding the MetroHealth System's mission and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA) is required.
• AHA BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.

Required Qualifications:

• High school graduate or passage of a high school equivalency exam.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology.
• Possesses and maintains certification as a surgical technologist (CST) from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
• Current AHA Basic Life Support certification or obtains within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds
