Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center in Lyndhurst, OH is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support the operating room team. You will assist in various OR duties, maintain sterile fields, and contribute to efficient patient care across Neonate to Geriatric cases.

• Performs various duties in the operating room.

Required Qualifications:

• High school graduate or passage of a high school equivalency exam.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology.
• Possesses and maintains certification as a surgical technologist (CST) from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
• Current AHA Basic Life Support certification or obtains within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds
