AdventHealth in Tarpon Springs, FL is hiring a Full-time Surgical Tech for day shift. You will prepare sterile dressings, assist with room prep, handle specimens, and maintain sterile technique to support surgical teams. Requires CST/CPR and 1+ year scrub experience.

Qualifications

• Experience as scrub tech or surgical tech in a multi-disciplinary surgical service.
• Proficiency in sterile technique and instrument handling.
• BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares sterile dressings and cleans instruments for terminal sterilization.
• Assists team with terminal cleaning and prep for next patient.
• Handles surgical specimens with accuracy and follows sterile protocols.
• Recognizes and responds to emergencies during procedures.
• Sets up sterile table with instruments, supplies and meds for procedures.
