Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Certified Surgical Tech for CDH OR Ortho with a full-time rotating shift in Illinois. The role involves preparing operating rooms, assisting with patient positioning, passing instruments, and ensuring instrument counts throughout procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepares surgical operating suite with drapes, medications, solutions, instruments, equipment, implants, and supplies.
• Assists with preparing, transporting, positioning and draping patients.
• Passes instruments to physician during surgery and accounts for instruments and supplies.
• Receives and processes specimens, if required, for delivery to the laboratory.
