Medical City Ambulatory Surgery Center in Texas seeks a Certified Surgical Tech to assist the operating team under a Registered Nurse. You will provide direct patient care, scrub for procedures, and maintain sterile technique to support safe, efficient surgeries.

The role includes preparing the operative suite, assisting the surgeon, turnover between cases, and recording clinical data. Requires Surgical Technology program graduation, certification, and BCLS. One year OR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Surgical Tech Certification.
• One year experience in an operating room setting (ambulatory surgery center preferred).
• Valid BCLS Certification required at employment.

Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist the surgeon at the operative field.
• Prepare the operative suite by gathering supplies and instruments.
• Maintain surgical asepsis in handling instruments and dressings.
• Turnover operating room suites between cases and prepare for next day.
• Document pertinent clinical data in the medical record.
