Job summary

Medical City Ambulatory Surgery Center in Dallas, TX seeks a Certified Surgical Tech to support safe, efficient operating room care under RN supervision. You will scrub, assist the surgeon, maintain asepsis, and help turnover between cases in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program, Surgical Tech Certification, 1 year OR experience, and a valid BCLS certification upon employment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program as required by facility practice and state regulation.
• Surgical Tech Certification.
• One year experience in an operating room setting (preferably ambulatory surgery center).
• Valid BCLS Certification upon employment (Online certification not acceptable).

Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist the surgeon at the operative field.
• Direct patient care and observation in the OR per scope of practice.
• Contribute to surgical room turnover between cases and maintain sterile technique.
