As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a key role in the operating room, supporting surgeons and nurses in delivering exceptional care. You'll prepare sterile instruments, maintain a safe environment, and ensure everything is ready for successful procedures.
Set up and maintain sterile fields for surgery
Pass instruments, anticipate surgeon needs, and handle specimens
Perform sponge, needle, and instrument counts
Clean OR post-procedure and prepare tools for sterilization
Completion of accredited surgical tech training program.
National Board of Surgical Technology (NBSTA) Certification must be obtained within 1 year of completion of program.
High School Diploma
CPR certification or able to obtain within 60 days
2 years of surgical tech experience preferred
