Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System in Mishawaka, IN is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support surgeons and nurses in the operating room. You will prepare sterile instruments, maintain a safe environment, and ensure readiness for procedures.

The role offers a day shift, full-time schedule, and a $10,000 sign-on bonus with daily pay options. Minimum qualifications include accredited surgical tech training, NBSTA cert within 1 year, a high school diploma, CPR, and preferred 2 years of experience.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain sterile fields for surgery
• Pass instruments, anticipate surgeon needs, and handle specimens
• Perform sponge, needle, and instrument counts
• Clean OR post-procedure and prepare tools for sterilization

Education
