AdventHealth Zephyrhills seeks an experienced Surgical First Assistant to prepare operating suites and assist surgeons. You will select instruments, provide hemostasis, and support patient safety during procedures in a high-volume environment.

Requirements include a Surgical Technology program, high school diploma or equivalent, and BLS; CST/CSFA/CSA certifications are preferred. Full-time daytime schedule with competitive benefits is offered.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• Successful completion of an accredited Surgical Technology Course.
• BLS certification required; various CST/CSFA/CSA certifications preferred or required as listed.

Responsabilidades

• Set up operating suites per surgeon preference cards.
• Determine appropriate surgical equipment and supplies.
• Assist with hemostasis, closures, dressings, and drainage.
• Maintain aseptic technique and monitor team to prevent breaks in technique.
• Assist with positioning patients and ensuring safety and comfort.
