Memorial Hospital - Chattanooga is seeking a Surgical First Assistant to directly assist the surgeon during operative procedures, providing essential exposure and hemostasis support to ensure safe patient care.

You will work closely with the operating team, following guidance from the surgeon and circulating nurse, while reporting to your Team Leader and maintaining strict patient safety standards.

Formación

• Certified Surgical Assistant required.
• National Certification First Assistant; AHA BLS certification required or preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the surgeon during operative procedures under direct supervision.
• Provide exposure, hemostasis, and wound closure support as part of the surgical team.
• Collaborate with the surgical team and report to the Team Leader.
• Maintain acute awareness of the surgical field and patient safety throughout procedures.
