The role requires ARC/STSA-accredited training, NBSTSA certification, and strong English communication. You will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on patient safety and aseptic techniques.

Qualifications

• Education: One year experience as a Certified Surgical First Assistant.
• ARC/STSA accreditation of the surgical assistant program is required/preferred.
• Certification: NBSTSA certification for Surgical Technologist/First Assistant and active licensure.
• Excellent communication and English language skills are required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment and team setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient positioning and transferring.
• Prepare and maintain sterile field and instrument table.
• Drape patient and assist with surgical procedure under surgeon guidance.
• Maintain sterility and observe safety protocols and infection control.
• Coordinate with circulating nurse and anesthesia team as needed.
• Demonstrate proper glove technique and PPE usage throughout procedures.
