Grosse Pointe Hospital, part of Corewell Health, seeks a Certified Surgical Assistant to support surgeons under direct supervision in approved procedures at the Grosse Pointe location. This part-time, rotating shift role emphasizes patient safety, teamwork and adherence to sterile technique.
Required: completion of a Surgical Tech First Assistant or CSA program, certification such as CSA or CSFA by NBSTSA/NCCSA, BLS; 2 years of relevant experience preferred; further certifications welcomed.

The Certified Surgical Assistant assists the surgeon in the performance of approved surgical procedures, and who works under the direct supervision of and by the request of the operating surgeon.
