Pineywoods Community Academy is seeking a Substitute Teacher – Non-Degreed, Degreed, Certified to support classroom instruction across grades. Certified teachers earn about 125 per day and join a team dedicated to maintaining learning continuity when the regular teacher is absent.

Responsibilities include implementing lesson plans, supervising students, managing behavior, taking attendance, and collaborating with staff to adapt curriculum.

Formación

• Minimum Education - High school diploma/GED, some college hours, or associate degree.
• Knowledge of core academic subject and instruction.
• Ability to instruct students and manage behavior.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Implement lesson plans and instructional activities provided by the absent teacher or designated staff.
• Use appropriate instructional strategies and materials reflecting students' learning styles.
• Work cooperatively with teachers to modify curriculum as needed or noted in lesson plans.
• Submit attendance reports.
• Maintain a classroom conducive to learning and manage student behavior.
• Supervise students and ensure safety.
• Leave notes or substitute reports at end of day.
• Report accidents or incidents.
