BayMark Health Services, Inc. is seeking a compassionate Substance Use Counselor in California to help patients through medically assisted treatments and counseling sessions. You will conduct individual and group sessions and coordinate care with doctors and nurses to improve outcomes.

Qualifications include a California Counselor certification, experience with chemically dependent individuals, and passing drug screens and background checks. We offer competitive hourly pay and a benefits package.

Qualifications

• Certified Counselor in the State of California.
• Experience with chemically dependent individuals a plus.
• Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling services; direct service hours at regularly scheduled intervals; coordinate all services throughout treatment.
• Completes Bio-psychosocial assessment.
• Facilitates, establishes and reviews with each patient the initial treatment plan.
• Develop aftercare plans and discharge plans.
• Ensure efficient and effective delivery of counseling services to all patients.
• Other related duties as determined by supervisor.
