Qualifications

• 1 year experience in surgical instrument sterilization processing.
• BCLS Certification required at employment.
• Certification and knowledge of AAMI and ASHCSP standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sterilization of instruments and equipment.
• Keep sanitary environment for patient care.
• Follow manufacturer instructions for sterilization methods.
• Document test loads and cycles and report deviations.
• Log equipment out for repair and monitor sterilization cycles.
