Job summary

Lincoln Surgery Center is hiring a Certified Instrument/Sterile Processing Tech in Parker, Colorado. Under RN supervision, you will ensure cleaned, sterilized instruments and supplies; support patient care across procedural areas.

Qualifications

• One year experience in surgical instrument sterilization processing.
• Valid BCLS Certification upon employment (online certification not acceptable).
• Certification and knowledge of AAMI/ASHCSP guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge related to maintenance, cleanliness, and sterilization of instruments and equipment.
• Maintain a sanitary environment for patient care.
• Demonstrate appropriate sterilization methods per manufacturer instructions.
• Demonstrate knowledge of high-level disinfection and sterilization of endoscopy equipment.
• Maintain a daily log and test disinfecting solution efficacy.
• Monitor and record test loads and sterilization cycles; document deviations.
• Maintain logs for equipment out for repair.
