Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• CRCST or CSPDT certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Processes decontaminated medical devices as they are received, according to established priorities, medical device IFU’s.
• Receives instruments from the decontamination area and processes appropriately.
• Performs routine cleaning of work spaces/instrument room/cabinets; empties biohazard waste; monitors environmental monitors.
• Completes sterilization processes.
• Performs high level disinfection.
• Performs other duties as assigned, including other essential instrument room duties.
