Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a Certified Sterile Processing Tech for a 13-week hospital assignment in Ohio. Day shift, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, with weekend rotation and occasional holidays.

The role requires CBSPD or CRCST certification, 3 years of experience, and proficiency with decontamination, instrument assembly, and both Sterrad and steam sterilization. Strong communication and infection-control practices are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have decontamination experience for drills, scopes and instruments.
• Proficient in assembling instruments across service lines.
• Knowledge of sterilization using Sterrad and steam.
• Experience with high-level disinfection and scope reprocessing.
• Experience with sterile storage procedures.
• Able to liaison with operating rooms.
• Familiar with Censitrac tracking system.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate items including drills and scopes.
• Assemble instruments across service lines.
• Perform sterilization via Sterrad and steam.
• Apply high-level disinfection and scope reprocessing.
• Maintain sterile storage and inventory.
• Coordinate with operating rooms as liaison.
• Use Censitrac to track instruments.
