Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician in Columbus, OH. Shifts are mid, hours per shift 8, with a 13-week duration. Travel between locations and credentialing may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in decontamination and sterilization processes.
• Familiarity with high-level disinfection and scope processing.
• Knowledge of sterile storage and OR liaison duties.
• Experience with tracking systems.
• Ability to manage case cart needs.
• Experience in an acute hospital or ambulatory surgery setting.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate all items and manage the sterilization process.
• Provide high-level disinfection and scope handling as required.
• Operate and maintain sterilization tracking systems.
• Move and prepare case carts for upcoming procedures.
• Take calls for surgical cases from the OR.
• Work with instruments and equipment including drills, Da Vinci systems, and various scopes.
• Maintain flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Float between locations and complete credentialing promptly.
